Ricardo “Toyditz” Cosico Jr of Compassion International Southeast Asia introduces the present state of children in the 21st century as well as a hopeful testimony from a child and the role of church in child transformation.
Dr Sunny Tan responds to Ricardo Cosico's presentation on the state of children in the 21st century, focusing on the role of theological institutions in meeting the needs of children in the South East Asia region. 
As an experienced adjunct faculty of the South Asia Institute of Advanced Christian Studies (SAIACS), Dr Jesudason Jeyaraj presents a unique and holistic approach adopted by SAIACS in developing a HCD foundational syllabus in the South Indian context which includes biblical, contextual and ecclesiastical perspectives. 
This is a report of the first SEA-HCD Program Implementation Consultation held from May 4-8, 2009 in Penang, Malaysia. The consultation was hosted by Compassion International MBTS Holistic Child Development (HCD) Institute.
Dr Jesudason Jeyaraj shows how child theology can be integrated into existing programs at the Bachelor and Masters levels. Here, you will find a detailed and comprehensive course outline and bibliography which will assist you in program implementation.
